Builders plastic provides a moisture barrier in many construction applications under the slab before it is poured. 

The heavy duty polythene building film is used in many other industrial applications were a protection from the weather is required in packaging to wrap and or protect items during transport or storage.

 The wider rolls are often centrefold on the roll and are unfolded to provide extra wide layers of protective film. 

This heavy duty plastic can be used to protect new timber or tiled floors during construction.
